I saw a thread on TD last year about them so I bought one in preparation for this Christmas. Married baws know that trying to maneuver a heavy arse Christmas tree into some cheap stand and getting it to stand up straight will lead to a whole bunch of cussing. For $110, I was able to carry the tree in myself and have it standing perfectly straight in 5 minutes.

I don't remember who made the thread last year, but thank you. If you still have time, do yourself a favor and go get one of these

I’d rather fire off a few curse words than pay $110 for a free stand

Some reason I was thinking I was going to foot crank my self up a tree and hunt.

You're right, that is a terrible deal.

Beat me to it.

And I know a lot of hunters that crank in their tree stands when they get bored.

I carried my 9 ft tree into my house when two young men needed each other to do it. Felt good to know at 42 my old man strength was better than two millennials…

Next I made my 12 and 10 year old tighten the bolts in the tree in hopes that they never buy a foot peddle tree stand and carry on the tradition of Christmas for alphas.

what were you using before? Got a real tree last year after many years of fake tree usage. Bought one they were selling there at the spot, the guy mounted it in the stand right then, I made some adjustments to it at home, had no issues. In past years I've never had an issue either, even with those old-school semi flimsy metal stands.

Have one. Works as easily as advertised, holds 2.5 gallons of water, and fits nicely under the tree skirt. Is it expensive? Sure. But at this point, $100 is a “fairly nice” dinner for two, so it’s not like it’s breaking the bank.

Our place already has trees in stand and you just trade in your stand from last year, then they deliver tree to your house
