Traveled for work last 3 weeks straight, just knew I was gonna pick up some kinda bullshite...sure enough I was cooking breakfast yesterday I started feeling like I had a really bad migraine... by 3 o'clock I was running a fever and couldn't hardly function. Took at nap on the back porch with a hoodie on in the sun.

That evening, fever spiked at 102... slept with four blankets, woke up at 4am, fever broke and I'm laying in a soaking wet pile of blankets like a Im at a Mexican whorehouse.

I'm fine this morning with zero issues, talked to a few people who had same thing..24 hour misery.

Any baw(ette)s have a similiar experience recently, and is this the apocalypse they speak of??

I don’t believe you have a job and neither do I believe you had COVID.

So you had a 24 hour flu? That has been around for decades. Probably not Covid.

Why do you automatically think it's COVID?

Pureblood here, never had covid so I wouldn't know. Probably 24 hour flu bug that's always been there. Drink fluids, take some zinc, C & D. You'll be fine.

I had to travel for work and came back, felt super exhausted which I thought was just from the traveling but next day still felt just weirdly tired/zapped of energy.

Then fever started to rise, got up to 104 but came down quickly after ibuprofen. But I also had a headache and body aches, specifically in me legs. My legs felt like I had a hard workout and needed to stretch but stretching didn’t satisfy it. It was weird.

Slept all weekend and have been fine sense other than a weird cough that has hung around for a few weeks.

If this was the dreaded Covid it wasn’t really that bad compared to normal sickness, just the symptoms of tiredness with body aches being different than I’ve experienced before

Woke up last Sunday night shaking uncontrollably. Laid in bed Monday and Tuesday with aches and pain, mostly lower back. Fever finally broke early Wednesday morning and I was laying in a soaked bed. And diarrhea thrown in for kicks. Ugh.

Yes, the first time I got it. Worse than the flu for 24 hours, lost taste and smell, but was more or less fine after that.
