The cops I know that had to do both in training, say the same thing. When the the tase is over…it’s over. The pepper spray stays with you.

I don’t know, when I get shocked by an outlet I yank my finger away and yell F@$K. When a cop zaps you, his finger is probably on the trigger for a good 10 seconds while you flip on the ground pissing your pants. But this is only an assumption.
