Everybody knows Bawcomville has the best tap water in Ouachita Parish. Don’t drink that nasty suburban water.

thought it was just a hotel issue then I grabbed lunch at trapps and the water they brought out was also brown.

Gave me an excuse to have beer instead.

It’s so that the water matches the smell.

That’s some pre-Industrial Revolution decision making. Back when people had to drink beer and wine because their water sources were contaminated.

My water is crystal clear. I’ve heard others in the area have had issues though.

Parts of Lafourche Parish are brownish too, Father In Law says its because where they pull water from is low and they picking up more sediment.

Allegedly its the "soft water" from the aquifers below.

Showering in that water makes you feel like you did not get the soap off of you.

“Homer, is it true that in Springfield we have to bring our own water?”

“We have a rule there… if it is brown, drink it down, if it is black, send it back.”

And that some pay big money to have those minerals in it and you should be damn lucky to be staying there a night or 2 and enjoy having it.

As I left the elevator after seeing the posted sign

It's just a little inconvenience you have to shrug off in order to have food, culture and tailgating.

That entire area has terrible tap water. I had never seen such a thing before.

It stretches to Shreveport, their water is so bad it made the pho in a restaurant taste like it also.

not to worry, bro. pretty sure this is just from naturally occurring minerals undergoing the reverse osmosis process.
