Jobs requiring too much education

I think there are several jobs out there that shouldn’t require the level of education, as in doctorates, that they now do. I’ll start with Physical and Occupational therapist jobs, what was wrong with those jobs being a bachelors or MS degree?Another example is CRNA’s having to get their doctorate now instead of their masters. What are some other jobs that they are over complicating with schooling?

You know what doesn't require enough education? Early childhood education teachers.
The only requirement seems to be non-felon and was a baby once.

Anything to do with a "diversity" or "equity" department.

Surveyor now requires a bachelor's degree. Real estate appraiser is another. This is just gatekeeping to stifle competition.

My nephew is dating a girl whose father is a river pilot. If I'm ever lucky enough to meet him I'll get his autograph.

Pharmacy used to be a BS degree. Now it’s 7 years and expensive.
You have older BS pharmacists working right beside doctorate of pharmacy youngings doing the exact same work.

MD psychiatrists, as long as you know what interacts with what, it’s basically trial and error anyway, nurse practitioners are fine

Guidance counselors. I believe you need your masters degree to make about $45k a year.

We could do like other countries and make law an undergrad degree and probably not have too much drop off.
I think the undergrad degree and three years of law school has some benefit, but a lot, maybe a majority, of lawyers probably would do just fine with their education fit into four years.

Librarians (not run of the mill library workers) need a master's degree.
