The construction for that site on LA23 has been insane. Seem like good peeps and a solid gig

Been watching it since the beginning of this past duck season. It's massive. Hearing some rumors about what they're offering employees. Wanted to see what everyone else was hearing.

Buddy of mine I currently work with is going through the hiring process. Sounds like a good gig. If I lived closer to it, i'd be applying as well.

They offer a lot of money for I/E and operations. The drive from Moss Bluff is not worth it for me.
Good company though
LNG is a clean process

What company is doing the coordinating out there?

Worked them for a few years. They are a private company headquartered in Arlington Virgina, so they are ran a good bit different than other oil and gas companies (Shell, P66, Chevron, etc). Different mindset since they are a startup and learning as they go. They pay well but expect a lot (long hours) in return. For what it is worth, I was salary while there and not part of operations.

Their owner is a really cool dude. I flew him several times.

What do you want to know about it?

They slow pay contractors and vendors.

I used to work on the site. Money really isn't an option, they are running 24/7. With that it'll probably still be another 4 years before the plant is finished. They should be finishing up the dirt work around this time. Once the construction docks are done they will prefab everything and send it to the site by boat.
I haven't been down there but there will be an overpass from the plant to the docks.

This. My company was on ground day 1 and we just got our per diem paid for by then.

Joint venture between KBR and Zachary. KBR is doing the engineering.

They are planning to build four LNG export terminals. Spend something like $20-30Billion bucks. Already have one producing LNG south of Lake Charles, and constructing another south of New Orleans. Plan would be to construct an additional plant near each of those sites as well.
They are a startup and figuring it out as they go, but they are making big moves. Should be room to move up in the company if that's what you're looking for.

Mid $50's for outside operators. $59 for DCS. Medical paid 100%. 7 on 7 off schedule. Training will be at Nunez and some time spent to in LC. Might be a 13&1 training schedule.
