Does anyone partake in near death experiences?

I kayak waters I shouldn't, rock climb, etc. Those moments when it's life or death equate to nothing more than that moment, you don't think of past or present, just the now.
This leads me to my next point. I've been reading "The Power of Now" and it has helped me live in those moments. For anyone that is stuck in their head and constantly contemplates the past and future, read the book or listen to the audio. Depression and anxiety will melt away if you practice it.

I got stuck in a multi-foot snowdrift for two hours this morning in -25 degree weather until a rancher pulled me out. Enough NDE for me for a few months.

Does auto-erotic asphyxiation count…. asking for a friend.

Commute through the hood. Gets the blood flowing in the morning.

Oldmanbeasley has been known to call women fat to their face, so that’s an affirmative.

We used to change drivers while drunk by climbing out the driver window, over the hood at 55 miles an hour, and climbing in the passenger window on Hwy 80 back in my stupid years. So yeah..I guess.

Yeah I do this when I go downhill mountain biking, it’s a thrill and you don’t realize you’ve been in the flow until after the fact.
Last time I went riding I started thinking about other minutiae and washed out because I wasn’t focusing. Luckily didn’t get hurt and just scraped my handlebar and pinky on a tree. That woke me up real quick.

That's like going out in the daytime and bragging about facing a vampire.
Commute between 11-1 at night and we'll talk.

I only have near-life experiences.

I've almost died a couple of times, so yes. But not by choice.
