Red44 goes down

Reports are they took in 75 million since 2019. Charges of tax evasion, money laundering, and operating illegal gambling.

Anybody heard of them? Anybody familiar with the prosecution of these cases? I'd always wondered how some of these sites operate with impunity. I guess they dont.

My favorite, most American, and the "crime" that should give you the least amount of prison time, if any.

Those motherfrickers don't deserve anymore money. We should all start doing it.

Actually the estimated profit in just three of the 17 years they operated was 75 million dollars.
The Feds estimate their tax liability for those three years at 20 million dollars.

Prosecutors say Red44 is estimated to have taken in hundreds of millions of dollars in wagers from 2019 through 2021. They estimate a gross profit of nearly $75 million over the three-year period,

You can get away with a lot if you just pay taxes. I know, I am making up shite when I say I know someone, but lets pretend I am not lying (which I am not).

Anyway, I was told by someone who... had to deal with the feds. It was a woman agent and told this person to avoid any more problems, they have to report something and that why she knows telling someone who only deals in cash to report everything is pointless, to at least report half.

So if you bringing in that kind of money.. You can protect yourself by reporting some of it.

If they can't tax this money then how are they going to be able to give it to illegal aliens?

Yes. They get you on not paying your taxes. If you pay your taxes, even though the income is generated illegally, they can't come at you nearly as hard.

The sites don't operate with impunity. Just don't stick your finger up in the air while you're bookmaking now.

The way they hammer you is if they can bring Rico charges on you or not. If so, good luck.

Yeah but I don't necessarily believe those numbers. Lawyers doing math is always a joke.

My brother knows a couple of them that are involved through work associates. He said it’s not surprising based on his impression of them.

I always thought if you were laundering the money, then you were not evading taxes.

I believe the indictments are real. But everything a prosecutor puts in the indictment or everything they say to the media isn't always true.

Nah bc the government thinks you should have to pay taxes on the money earned from the gambling and again on money earned from your washing business.
