They must have needed another car to get to their calculus final on campus.

I live down the street from there.

This is exactly why I always keep a piece in my car.

Car jackers are going to have it so easy when the Interstate goes to one lane.

I was practically sitting on my Glock 43 and never had time to put my hand on it. It was amazingly fast.

That isn't far from where I grew up (Jefferson Terrace). I'm glad my parents got the hell out of BR when my old man retired. I'm glad I got out when I did. An attempted car jacking at that location would have been damn near unfathomable back in the 80's and 90's. At least the way I remembered it.

I’ve seen video of car jackings in New Orleans. They always came from the back. These came from the front and blocked the victims car at about a 45 degree angle. They didn’t get close enough and the victim drove to the right around them. I made eye contact with the fat one that went to the drivers door and he thought about coming to me, but jumped back in the truck and drove toward Baton Rouge Country Club.

There were at least three people in the suspect vehicle.
