For those of you rooting agains Coach Prime: Why?

I don’t understand the people rooting for him to fail. Ever since he started at JSU, he starts every practice with a team prayer, he’s stressed the importance of attending class and being a model student, making the grades, dressing appropriately, and players carrying themselves as good men. He found great success in the SWAC, and so far he’s led a team that was 1-11 last year to a 3-0 start.
Where is the hate coming from? Is it the media attention? Is it the fact that he coaches with the same flash that he played with? I really don’t understand the hate some of y’all are giving him. I’ll hang up and listen.

I am not rooting for or against Sanders. However, the SWAC fans that I know are rooting against for two reasons.
1. He ain't SWAC.
2. He left the SWAC.

Behavior, attitude, lack of respect for the game, and most of all, more than everything else combined-- the media narrative.
Look, he's doing a great job. I may not be a fan, but I can acknowledge that Boulder is not an easy place to try to get things done, and he's succeeded wildly for what was in place before him--- but the constant whining, the national slob job to try to make the Buffs a contender, instead of respecting what they have done and their run at a solid bowl and maybe making noise in the P12 would be more than enough on its own to completely turn me off to Sanders and the Buffalos on its own.

He seems like a dirty old man to me.
But what I mostly don’t like about him is he seems like an opportunist loud dickhead. He’s the Instagram of humans.
Not mad at him. Not rooting against him at all. But I roll my eyes at his following and think people who are bought in(like shel) are likely people I wouldn’t enjoy being around.
The media then pumps him and it just becomes too much. Also his cock suckers who can’t understand why someone might not be a fan is a little silly too.
Full disclosure, I think shel and I would have a great time hanging out.

IMO the media narrative was absolutely merited to start with. It’s getting out of hand. And I say that as someone who isn’t rooting against him.
As far as his flashy style, is what it is. But as far as him “being only about Prime” … the dirty truth about coaches is that 90% of them (and I’d daresay it’s closer to 100% in basketball) are frickin’ megalomaniacs. Prime just doesn’t disguise it.

Because I'm an LSU fan, that's why. Why in the hell should I root for a team I've never liked, I don't care who the coach is.
