Good edit. I was going to go all Derek Zoolander and question how people are supposed to see the field from the street.

I don’t think it’s a terrible campus. I just think any school that’s right on an interstate kind of stinks. Baylor’s the same way. Would be so much nicer if it were a little more off the beaten path.

Wow a rendering of a future project that's yet to materialize sure proves that the last several decades of reality are wrong. You got us!

Going to school in downtown Atlanta seems like my ultimate nightmare.

Are those huge buildings really needed to make AI porn?

Every urban campus is a shithole dump. That’s the nature of American cities.

Rice is sort of on the outskirts of downtown and buffered by forested land if I remember correctly. They’re not truly an urban campus.

So, I’m a GT guy. Yes, the North Ave area is a little sketchy although nothing like before they tore down Techwood homes for the Olympics. When we did an official UGA tour with my kids there were “outsiders” sleeping on benches all over campus which was totally unexpected. That doesn’t happen at GT. The GT police are tyrannical on campus. And the only housing around campus these days is very expensive so the “outsiders” don’t just walk up any more like pre-Olympics. The idea that GT’s campus is a dump is just the usual rival banter. If you actually went on campus you’d never know you were in a city. And, as far as the rendering goes, GT has now crossed the interstate and building up a huge technological area. The ROI on the degree is incredible these days. But, yes, the Asian/Indian percentage isn’t at SEC levels.

I actually like the campus. It's just not located where I'd want my kids to go. Same with Georgia State.

When one of my best friends was rushing at GA Tech in 2006, apparently one of the rush events for one of the other fraternities was tossing computers off a roof … so that tells you all you need to know

Wish Ga tech was more like Texas Tech

I live in Buckhead, four miles from GT campus. Let me say that the GT campus is the country’s most improved campus since the 1980s. It gets better every year and is now an oasis in Midtown Atlanta with LOTS of green space.

Chandler stadium is one of the nicest college baseball parks in the country.

Tulane is the most overrated campus in America. I’m sure GT is a lot nicer than that dump
