Lebron GOAT Performance

Lebron dropped 48 (and 29 of team's last 30) points in defeating the heavily favored Pistons in Game 5 to break a 2-2 tie. The CAVS would win the next game to make the Finals. Lebron at 22 years became a legend that night. Sorry, 222.

Well, the crazy thing is that Pistons team left 2-3 more Finals appearances on the table just by drafting the wrong guy.

And basketball fans were robbed of having James and Anthony in the same division, facing each other year after year.

Especially an Anthony that was under the tutelage of that roster.

One of the greatest feats in sports history and figs who hate Lebron won’t even acknowledge it.

Proving they’re the EXACT same as sky screaming far left libs.

That Pistons team wasn’t great?

Didn’t they just beat Kobe and Shaq in the finals?

They beat the Lakers in 2004, lost to the Spurs in 2005, lost to Miami in 2006, lost to the KING in 2007.

Are you asking the LBJ fanbois or the Jordanstans? I lose track in these threads.

Lebron is an all-time Great. He is also annoying. The two are not mutually exclusive. This is a spin-off thread from the JR Smith one. I mean greatness is greatness. He hit 12 of his 15 shots, including 7 of last 9 on jumpers.

Better than literally anyone else in history at age 38.

Meanwhile JorFraud was getting swept in the first round at 22.

Ehhhhhh they were on the downward trend from that championship year which was 3 years prior. They did make the finals again after that championship year.

In 2007 when they lost to Cleveland, they didn’t have Ben Wallace anymore. And their head coach was Flip Saunders lol

That core was starting to age. I think Rip and Billups were both at 10 years at that point. Sheer was old too.

Shortly after the cavs beat them in 2007, they lost in the first round then missed the playoffs for like 6 straight years.

Michael Jordan certainly isn’t a fraud. I strongly dislike LeBron, mainly due to his off the court actions.

That being said, the Jordan vs. LeBron for GOAT argument is exhausted and exhausting. No one on either side is going to change their mind.

Yeah you’re exactly right. I thought they were only 2 years removed from the championship for some reason.
