I’ve always wanted for it to succeed ever since it WAY out kicked it’s coverage the first week of the inaugural season.
It smashed in the ratings but the game was horrendous basically dooming the league moving forward.

It’s spring football which is what the FCS should do as well if they’re smart. No reason for them to play in the fall and compete with FBS.

Yeah you’re right, they get on average about a half million per game, tv deals probably wouldn’t match that. Too many schools.

I wonder if the 2nd iteration would still be around if it wasn't for covid. They had good ratings and attendance well into the season when it got canceled.
Then again, all the drama that came out between Vince (shocker) and Oliver Luck makes me think it was always doomed to fail.
