LSU has been getting pushed around for years. A team like UCLA should never be that more physical than LSU. He may have been great in the mid-2000s but he hasn’t been getting it done lately.

Are we going to ignore all the guys who go to the NFL and do just fine? Do you think they turned it around by working out real hard one summer?

Yep.

Culture issue at LSU. Nothing else. No heart

Yeah, he really does. The “tone” starts with him.

The strength coach gives the coach what he wants. If he wants slim fast LBs, he gets slim LBs. if he wants oversized DEs, he gets oversized DEs.

If you look back at our previous teams. The size of the position players differ from coach to coach.

It isn’t Moffitt’s job to teach tackling and containment.

Bad pad level. Nothing to do with conditioning! You never put on pads obviously

I have no idea why people want to blame the strength and conditioning coach. I didn't realize Tommy Moffitt was calling playing and teaching how to tackle you frickin idiot. Our team photo looks like a bodybuilding competition.

I'm just trying to understand your logic. So Moffitt was great from 2003-2007, then Moffitt sucked in 2008, then Moffitt was better in 09 and very good from 2010-12, then he was bad from 2013-halfway thru 2016, then good in the 2nd half of 2016, then bad in 2017, good again in 2018 and 19, and now sucks again. Did I sum it up correctly?

It's not moffitt's fault

Y'all will just blame anyone.

It starts with the head coach.

Then he couldn't get a known dc that wanted to work for him.

On top of that all he knows is "joe brady offense".

This line sucks and it's the same players as last year minus dare.

When the team morale is down, the strength and fitness coach should not be blamed. No one performs when management is terrible and they know a cookie monster is leading the program.

Tommy, no that’s not my logic and I really don’t know how you came up with that. But let me ask you, have we not been getting pushed around for years? Each year we are getting softer and dofter.

Getting pushed around has alot more to do with who the head coach is recruiting and how they're getting coached by the assistant coaches.

We're we getting pushed around in 2019?

I think the only staff member worth keeping is Raymond. I am sure someone can remind me of someone else as important, but that’s all I can think of.

Probably so, but the injury bug is a concern.

Mainly skill position players and LBers. Not a lot of linemen.

People like Devin White came in sculpted and fit.
