I've had this one circled for a while because it would be fun to see LSU play in the Rose Bowl and the weather in Pasadena in early Sept. seems a little more tolerable than peak hurricane season in Baton Rouge. However, the football game was just going to be a small portion of the trip. If CA is still under ridiculous covid restrictions then I'm not spending the money to go out there.
I'm not really interested in spending a few grand to be (largely) stuck in a hotel room and having to sit in a Rose Bowl (which should have MORE than enough room to "social distance") with a mask on for 3+ hours.

just relaying what I was told? he lives in Newport Beach, maybe it's a regional thing? or maybe he was just bullshitting, he didn't have any school aged kids
