LSU’s best football players ever by position. (Last 30 years or so for my picks)

What would your all-time LSU football team look like? I’m filling out mine without any certain criteria and using only players from those I was able to see. There is definitely better players that are left off like Billy Cannon and other greats that were before my time.
I mainly did this to see how it would compare to other schools like Miami, USC or Bama.
I had a lot of trouble deciding on OL, DL and DB’s. Honestly most positions were tough for me to decide.
All of these were players off the top of my mind.
QB- Joe Burrow
RB- Kevin Faulk
RB- Leonard Fournette
WR- Josh Reed
WR- Ja’Marr Chase
WR- Odell Beckham Jr / Jarvis Landry
TE- David Lafluer
OT- Andrew Whitworth
G- Trai Turner
C- Kevin Mawae or Ben Wilkerson
G- Alan Faneca
OT- La’el Collins
DT- Glenn Dorsey
DT- Kyle Williams or Chad Lavalais
DE- Marcus Spears
DE- Tyson Jackson or Arden Key
LB- Devin White
LB- Kevin Minter
LB- Bradie James
CB- Patrick Peterson
CB- Tre White
NB- Tyrann Mathieu
S- Jamal Adams/ Grant Delpit
S- Laron Landry/ Chad Jones/ Eric Reid
K- Cole Tracy or Colt David or Josh Jasper
P- Brad Wing or Donnie Jones
PR- Tyrann Mathieu
KR- Eddie Kennison or Trindon Holiday
Players in consideration:
Mo Claiborne, Rohan Davey (fight me), Derrius Guice, Michael Clayton, Ben Wilkerson, Justin Jefferson, Donnie Jones, Trev Faulk
I can’t put Derek Stingley on here yet. Just one year so far. Ja’Marr Chase was almost left off because he is still playing but he has all the hardware already
This is pretty much a rough draft that will probably change a good bit. I listed multiple names for a few positions until I get more info.

Chase over Jarvis. Dude set every record imaginable last year.

Pencil in Alan Faneca at the other guard.

I’m not saying your wrong, but jarvis would’ve been ridiculous in this offense

Agree with this. Bigger, faster and more elusive.

And La’el Collins at the other tackle

Agree. Imagine not having Mawae in that o line though. That's almost sinful.

La’el Collins at other OT?

Thaddeus Moss is the best tight end to ever play at LSU.

I’d say Chad Lavalais over Brockers and Donnie Jones over Wing

Gonna be a lot of great players left out of this one.

Nope.

Yep. But it’s lot of great players named by posters that I couldn’t remember. Mawea, Faneca, La’el Collins.
I have Chase on there. Just trying to get others opinion. I think he may be the best we to come out of LSU. Only reason he wasn’t penciled in yet was because he is just a sophomore but adding him now. I will add some players and remove some.

X100
Faneca needs a spot, no?
And why do all-time teams tend to have room for two RBs? Shouldn't it be one?

Looks pretty damn good to me. Only thing I would say would be I think Cushenberry over Wilkerson and Stingley over Shaq White

Best receiving TE for sure.
The 2019 offense was so amazing it makes it hard to compare offensive players, esp skill guys stuck in a dinosaur scheme.
