How should we handle the depth at tailback?

Helaire should start, Fournette has shown he's a very good back, then we have Curry who already redshirted and should be ready to step up. Finally we have the 2 freshmen who in my opinion has the most potential out of all of them. We can't keep the freshman off the field, so what should Orgeron do? Rotate 5 tailbacks?

The best guy plays. Hottest guy carries the rock.

Emery has been the story of camp.
As a fan, I'm looking forward to seeing him on game day

If they don't open up with Emery as the main guy, he will emerge against Texas if they struggle running early on.

Helaire should start
Why? ... Is he our best RB?

Lanard Fournette has 18 career carries
7 against rice.
When did he prove he’s a very good back?

I remember seeing him play and he looked good to me.

Screw Emery, Clyde and everyone else. We are just going to make Tory Carter the feature back and give him the rock 25 times a game!

Should we not put 3 in the backfield at once?
Ty Davis and Curry as the up backs and Emery as the tail back. Bring back the wishbone with Burrow!
Or, ease The guys with the most upside in while giving Clyde and Curry the bulk of the carries.
My biggest issue with the vets getting the bulk is if they are caught from behind. If the line blocks well enough for it to be a race to the end zone and we don’t score, we have to get the young guys in the field in a hurry.

Dude, go do something productive in your life. Instead of wasting time and brain cells on it, trust that the guys who are 100x more knowledgeable about the current situation than you are, will make the right decision. It’s in their best interest to be successful.

Knowing assignments will probably determine who gets the most work early in the season.

WE should just show up and watch....

I keep think Welles played because he was older and knew how to call plays. Knowledge is power.

I think tommy banks will get more carries this year

Helaire should not start are you kidding me. Emery starts with Davis coming in as #2. The rest can be sprinkled in but there’s no doubt that is the best lineup.
