Week to week, best prepared and most ready back plays.

CEH will play a lot, Fournette wont play much IMO. Curry wont play much more than Fournette.

Just my opinion. Projected final TOUCHES (Receptions + rushes) by end of season:

CEH - 200
Emery - 125
Davis-Price - 100
Curry - 35
Fournette - 20

Love me some Tory Carter. Don't insult his sister before a game.

Some of u guy's don't watch much football! If Coach don't let Emery play much he is wasting a really good tail back!!!

Lots of two-HB sets. You can create a lot of uncertainty for the defense; even throw in a little triple option wrinkle.

With CEH, Fournette, Emery, Curry, and Davis I’d have two of them on the field for most plays.

You act as if LSU has never had 3 studs at RB before

I know this isn’t NCAA14 but I seriously do hope we see a lot of two HB shotgun... it’s such a versatile formation.

Also any chance Davis redshirts if Curry turns the corner?

Not unless he gets hurt. You don’t redshirt RBs. None that are any good stay 5 years. Very few stay 4.

It is impossible to use all 5 backs, just like it will be impossible to get receptions for all 13 receivers and tight ends. Am I saying that someone will end up never getting on the field? No, I’d imagine that in garbage time vs NW st and Arkansas, we will make sure to spread the ball around more.

When did he prove he’s a very good back?

no doubt, seems like a hard working young man, but he's not top 4

Helaire starts with 1-2 runs mixed with 2-3 passes, then after 2 first downs bring in Emory on 2nd down and 6 yards to go, then run a delayed handoff with 4 WR set, he gains 15 up the middle

the way we always have- play the best RB at RB, and if someone else is a guy you just have to get on the field, find a spot for them.

Remember Devery Henderson was a RB coming in. Wasn't the best back, but damn fast in pads. Moved to WR, and became a starter (though not the #1 target), and lasted in the NFL for longer than any other skill position guy on that LSU team.

Josh Reed was a RB too, also got moved to WR and became an All American.

new redshirt rules makes it easier to redshirt players. O redshirted Curry last season. Having said that, Tyrion Davis-Price appears to be too good to redshirt. I think he will see action in more than 4 games.
