May be time to let WW go soon for LSU's future in basketball

Let me first say, I think WW has done a great job and I would love for him to return, but I just don't see that there's anyway possible for that to happen for a number of reasons.
1 - What major college has ever suspended a coach and waited months to decide what they are going to do?
2- Regardless of whether you agree or not, WW's refusal to speak to administrators screams that he's cheated big time (which we all know the big boys do), but is LSU willing to see just how bad it is before they decide. I don't think LSU should and I can't see them waiting for a corruption trial to see how bad it is for WW to decide the future of their program.
3 - This has to be killing recruiting. How do you convince a top-rated BB player to come to a program that may be on probation soon? How do you sell a program that doesn't know who the HC will be or even the assistants will be next year?
4 - Is WW really worth it? I know we're all pumped about this year's LSU team and the possibility of making a deep run in the NCAA tourney, but realistically WW is a young and unproven HC that has had one great year at LSU. Could he turn LSU in a BB power? Maybe or maybe not!
5 - Lastly, this is the season to land a good coach, not months down the road. Is WW worth risking the future of our program for a guy that may even be facing federal charges before all is said and done?
Like I stated earlier, I like WW and the great job he's done, but we have to look realistically at the future. I just don't see LSU waiting months to decide, when they could end up with a lot of egg on their face for not cutting WW loose and lose any possibility of getting a quality HC at that point, especially if we may face NCAA penalties.

This isn't exactly a typical administration situation we're talking about here.

He was willing to speak to administrators without the NCAA reps present. Why do we have to keep going over this?

WOW, the trolls all have their marching orders. Makes me wonder if the decision has been made.
If they fire him before April 22, they are dumber than I thought.

Nice try James Williams. Free Wade!

Do you think if Will Wade is guilty the NCAA is just going to ignore it and not sanction LSU?
We aren’t getting a good coach to follow Wade. Might as well ride it out with General Wade.

I’m thinking F King needs to spend more time worrying about the academic side

You make a very good point that it might be best for us to ride it out to see what happens because the NCAA may be coming soon. I agree that may be the best option, but I just don't see LSU sitting around hoping for the best when so much is unknown.

If LSU fires WW tomorrow, they will owe him $9+ mil. LSU cannot prove he violated his contract as of today.
LSU really has to wait until after that trial IF that trial actually happens, IF they want to fire WW. And that trial may not give them anything as cause for firing.
The best thing for LSUMBB in the long run is for LSU to put WW back at the helm as soon as possible and wait to see if the NCAA can drag anything up. If that means we wait til late April, so be it.
LSUMBB's best future is with WW at the helm.

Will Wade's refusal to speak is directly related to a federal trial he's been subpoenaed to testify at. I don't get what's so hard to understand about that.
And Will Wade isn't in trial. There's ZERO CHANCE he gets in any legal trouble. There's only a hundred articles in one thousand threads thoroughly explaining all this.. in detail.
What, do you guys sit there blankly staring at the ceiling until you think you've stumbled upon a flailing thought that brings a different perspective?
Here's a thought: Tryv actually READING the articles before you get any more ideas.

Dude, you just don't let him go. He has a situation going on. I am sure he will gladly answer questions after.

Where do you people come from? #FreeWillWade

You're clueless! No one knows what's going to come out or be said in court, regardless of what the papers say now! Things come out in court all the time that are not expected. Go ahead and bury your head in the sand because if WW already knew what was going to come out in court, he would have no problem talking to anyone! He's not talking because he doesn't know what's going to come out in court!
You're a total DA!

When you’re guilty, you lawyer up and shut up.
He did it, and he’s gone.
