It won’t be elite until he fixes the offense. LSU isn’t even close to their potential because of the same old terrible offense. If he gets the right coordinator then yes I think he can make LSU elite as long as Aranda sticks around.

It will be an impressive season if we win next week and the program is in better shape than I thought it would be at the beginning of the year BUT we will not be elite until we hire an elite offensive coordinator. Our current coaching philosophy and scheme will never be elite on offense

Regardless of the outcome of the A&M game this was a positive season for Orgeron & LSU. They made off season moves that put LSU in a position to win some tough games. Without Tracy and Burrow LSU probably has 2 more "L" heading into the A&M game.

It's a positive season yes, but there are many unsolved problems still.
The offense, the offensive line, for starters.

It is a great season and I say that sincerely, but to be elite that has to be the baseline of what you expect. Keep in mind Mike Archer had a top 5 finish and an SEC title.

This season has been mostly great. A win at A&M will solidify it as our best season since 2012 and a NY 6 win will be a bow on top. We still got things to fix, and I look forward to seeing us fix them but also am enjoying the season we are currently in the midst of.
