Stated John Chavis is vanilla and his scheme only works with superior talent
Too much youth on offense
Did not say Les Miles--I'll admit it, I'm a Les hater, but he didn't say Les was the problem

King has always said that Chavis was not an elite DC. He may have a point.

You can make an argument that Auburn was the 4th most talented team in the SEC last year and won the league because of scheme on offense, albeit with one loss.

I think it's more specifically that his scheme only works when he has superior talent at the DT position
If you look at every great defense he has had the strength was the defensive line and more specifically the defensive tackles
