Chavis is not an elite DC. He's had one Elite season (2011), two decent seasons (2009,2010), two very mediocre seasons with some pretty bad games (2012, 2013), and this year is on track for worse SEC defensive showing of all time.
I don't really see how this is still a debate. Tennessee was happy to be rid of him, and we even witnessed some of their common criticisms of him in his first few years (bend but don't break, third and Chavis).

Crappy fans, IMO
Yeah this makes sense. We are the reason the coaching staff is sucking arse this year and the team may go winless in the SEC. and of course why Miles is idiot. Yeah, makes perfect sense.

Our defensive talent is the lowest it's been since before Saban showed up. Welter is not talented. The entire line is not talented. Ronald Martin is not very talented. Our scouts got it wrong or our S&C and development program needs a serious overhaul.
