Yeah, who would want a team with the talent LSU has that is consistently among the WORST offensive teams in the country, that consistently makes the same stupid mistakes over and over, has clock management issues and is the laughing stock of college football because of its coaching staff?
Gee, maybe Colorado?

some tell LSU fans...be careful what you wish for.
I'll tell CU fans....be careful what you wish for.

They are actually right. I guess there are only a few tiger fans that realistically.

I'm with you Jake, until Gary Crowton is replaced and everything still fails, then I'll be on the fire Les Bandwagon.
The defensive co-coordinator thing was a failure, and we ended up with Chavis, a great hire and has paid off quickly.
Les is one year late on replacing Gary, but if he does it after this year and gets a great OC, Mettenberger, and our offensive jumps up to top 25, people around here start talking how we have the greatest coach in FBS, and one who knows how to run a team.

LSU is not winning because of Les. Les was able to win with the talent LSU attracts!
What has he done since? We are supposed to win alot, it is fact, but we arent supposed to lose with a carload of midgets pulling long hanky's out of their pockets still on the field!

Give me a fricking break with this same old, tired argument that LSU wins on talent alone, despite Miles. Are you telling me my grandmaw could put a headset on and go 9-3 with LSU's talent?
What has he done since? He has won a shite load of games. Yeah, he needs to replace Crowton to fix a struggling offense. But the bottom line is, the guy knows how to win games. Sure, the country laughs at him - but the same people laughing would hire him in a second.
In your opinion, what attracts players to LSU?

What everyone on this board has to remember, CU ain't had shite since McCartney. Neuheisel was a "too soft" mamby pamby according to CU fans, Gary Barnett was a Northwestern spin off that got CU further in the cellar and Hawk is a coach that can't do shite with any sort of talent.
CU is a school searching for some sort of football identity, and the regents could care less if they play ball here or not. They only care about academics, or funding thereof. They have a stadium that seats a little better than 53K, and most of the time it isn't close to being full. Unless of course OU or Neb is in town, then most of their fans snap up all of the tickets.
So, why wouldn't Les come here? Sure, he might make less, but would not have to endure agony of playing in the SEC. People up here are very forgiving. Hell, not too much excitement about a coach that has been here 5 seasons and can't get a winning record established.

So, you need to bring up your senile grandmother to make a positive comparison to Miles?

Funny thing is, though, Colorado has a more recent national title than say, our friends at Auburn.
