It ain’t FSU. They’d get annihilated by any team in the top five.

You'll get downvoted to oblivion for stating an objective fact, but don't let the confused / mentally ill get to you

Actually it's not an "objective fact." It's the very definition an opinion.

They change it year to year (always been best resume previously) but that's what he said for this year.

This is basically the old 'eye ball' test, which is proven wrong every week of every year, but year...let's pick 'best'.

fkn committee

FSU defense is playing lights out and they are getting their second tier QB for next game.

How do you define 'Best'. They have a great defense. That should count for something.

Nope.

Their defense is good enough to slug it up and play a competitive game against anyone but Washington and Texas.

Example of an opinion:

quote:

It ain’t FSU. They’d get annihilated by any team in the top five.

Example of an objective fact:

FSU is undefeated. Alabama isn't.

Some of you guys need to go back to the fourth grade where they explain the difference between a fact and an opinion.

So you are of the mindset that Oregon can’t lose to UW based on that logic.

So happy we don’t ever have to be in FSUs position as a fan base. 12 team playoff helps.

4 team playoff was ALWAYS flawed with 5 conferences.

Who the “best” is is subjective.

It’s hard to argue with any team that’s undefeated and screw them over and put in a team that has lost a game.

There are only four teams that get in, three are undefeated. Like it or not, they’re in.

It’s who gets the fourth spot. It should be Texas.

According to this guy, TCU had no chance against Michigan last year.

Let me help you out.

You don’t use the words “would” or “could”, you use “did” for objective facts. Alabama did lose to Texas and FSU did go undefeated.

What you’re arguing is subjectivity and feelings.

FSU has played inferior teams the entire year, not one team they’ve played is in the current top ten. Why on earth would you want to watch them get steamrolled by a top four opponent, especially when Jordan Travis is out for the year.

Then why the frick do we play the games? Let's just see who has the most nfl talent before the season and just crown them NC.

It’s not about what people “want.”

You win all your games, you’re in. The end.

That’s why it’s called playoffs.

No! Championships should be based solely on the eye test. And Bama passes it, damn it! Just hand them the trophy regardless of what happens. They look like the best team, and that's all that matters.
