Alabama has a lot of pull on the committee

I have no doubt they will be in. FSU is not one of the 4 best teams in the country with the backup qb. They're just not. Alabama may be the best team right now. It is what it is. It will be Michigan, Washington, Texas and Alabama.

You cannot leave an undefeated power 5 champion out. It tarnished the whole system but then again 2011 alabama is a big reason why we got the playoff.

They were literally left out last year when they were clearly one of the "best" 4 teams.

Little different this year. They got that extra game and just knocked off the 2x defending national champion on a 29 game winning streak. That is huge.

No. Records matter. They’re not the only thing that matters. Everyone knew, including the committee, that TCU wasn’t good enough to be in the playoffs but they put them in anyway.

UGA was without their 2 top receivers. FSU is down to their 3rd string QB. Why should Bama's win be deemed more impressive that an FSU win? If the Gumps get in over an undefeated Power 5 conference champion, then we need to blow up the current system and start over again.
