Defense final numbers

Defense under House:
The final rankings out of 130 teams: 116th in 3rd down defense, 114th in red zone defense, 101st in turnovers forced, 71st in tackles for loss, 92nd in opponent passer efficiency, 89th in run defense, and 101st in yards allowed per game. Why is he still here. This is not even close to LSU standards. Make the change CBK.

I can only figure he is here because he was running CBK's defense. We all act like House had total control over the defense.
I'm doubting what we saw was all on House. The soft zone read and react defense probably has Kelly's hands all over it. And Kelly is to confident that he is always right. He's probably so sure in his system that he thinks he just needs better players.

Me thinks you are talking out of your arse. Tell us how this has "Kelly's hands all over it."
Tell us how you know "Kelly is to confident that he is always right."
After building his program at ND which ended in the 12th, 14th, and 14th ranked scoring defenses in '19,'20, and '21, why would he not be confident that he knows what works well?

It's hard to believe that a team with Defense numbers like that ended regular season 9-3.

Did we ever play man to man converge? It seemed the zone defense was suicide. The players either didn't know who to cover or which way to go and when they did, they were slow. In watching the top teams, its mam to man with defensive coverage practically glued to the receiver.
