Sounds like Duce Chestnut is suspended per BK

Just said it was a coaches decision to not let him travel to Oxford. Anyone know what happened here? Our CB depth keeps getting worse.

Welch needs to play. Sitting on the bench will do his development no good. It's not like the other guys are world beaters either.

I didn’t take it as suspended …
We can only take so many players to road games. We typically have a couple freshman scholarship guys that don’t travel.
I think they don’t they think he is good enough.

I have seen many posts talking about how bad welch played. How did he play any worse than anyone else. The only person in the secondary that made a play here or there was Alexander.
Serious question, what made his play so much worse to get the Hookfin treatment?

He made some good plays early and was in good spots

Dude STARTED and took majority of snaps against FSU in the opener.

Chestnut suspended. At Alexander was a bit hurt. That’s a problem for this team. It takes a weakness and makes it a glaring weakness.
