I think this isn’t being talked about enough if he doesn’t play we are losing a huge piece to our offense and relying on true freshman. He’s JD’s safety blanket, IF he doesn’t play I think it’s something definitely to watch for

If so….we will need Ramos to have a great game OR we might have to go to Nuss earlier in the game to save it.

Wasn't Taylor a true freshman last year?

Taylor is a important part of the offense and will be missed. But if his absence means LSU will lose then LSU has much bigger issues than a injured TE.

Honestly I’d like Denbrock not to rely so much on the inverted triple option.
It was cute the first 10 times.

Seeing that he is Jaden’s favorite target, it’s a big deal

If Mason Taylor is the difference between winning and losing against MSU we got bigger fricking problems

Without Taylor who else is LSU going to run in motion on the RPO where EVERYONE knows a pass is going to Taylor?
Denbrock is screwed. He might have to advance his offense beyond 2012

It’s a legit question dickhead. MT is a huge part of this offense and we only have freshman available going into their first SEC game on the road in a hostile environment. If he’s not playing it def changes our offense. Mac Markway is not Mason Taylor.

Markway doesn't have to be Taylor...if he makes a couple of grabs & holds on to the ball, then I call that a success.

That play has broken JD loose for nice runs several times.

BK already said Markway would start with Pimpton getting snaps as well as the juco kid who is mainly a blocker. We will be fine.

Markway is also already a better blocker, especially in the run game. Taylor still struggles with this and it was evident against FSU.
Taylor will be missed, but I’m betting the new kids step it up in his absence.
