Growing up in the Archer-Hallman era this was one game, not a program.

Facts:
1. We played a good team last weekend, and some things didn’t go our way.

2. When it went their way, they capitalized on it.

3. The core of any team is the juniors and seniors. Class of 2020, class of 21. Anyone need reminders of the state of the Valley then?

4. Portal can fill holes but not build an entire team.

5. Everything we want for the team is still in front of us.

6. Thank goodness tRant wasn’t a thing when we went to Blacksburg in ‘02, or when Booty audible against UAB.

I'm still hopeful. But, recruiting is not where it should be and the team just looked uninspired during the game vs FSU. I think that's a cause for concern.

Its a top 10 class in a down year in state. Please make this subpar recruiting narrative stop. We still have a good shot at flipping Mack and McKinley as well.

We still have a few months until signing day, but I’m with you. We have missed at DT two classes in a row. And CB what feels like 3+ classes in a row. Both of those are what killed us Sunday night defensively.

I fixed it. Combination of old fingers and too many Old Fashioneds cause some years to blend.

Mack I could see but what gives you that thought on McKinley?

No inside info. I dont have sources for sure. But both players are committed to 2 dumpster fires (especially sunbelt billy) whose coaches are another poor season away from being on the hottest of seats (heck if florida is as bad as everyone thinks then billy may not get to yr 3)

No worries.

I was not signed up yet in 2006, though I started lurking probably mid-2000s. The site has gotten progressively more vitriolic, particularly in the last decade. I try not to get drawn in but I am frequently unsuccessful.

Do not have a good shot at flipping McKinley. Dude isn’t interested in LSU. Multiple people have said this book is pretty much closed

Kinda where I am, Cap.

Wish I still had connections at Acadiana but those are long in the past for me (I graduated from there in 1980 and my mom worked in the cafeteria there until the early 90s when she retired.)

My understanding, from what I have heard or read, is that his mom wants him to go to a better academic university than LSU but that is purely hearsay on my part.

What sorts of things have you heard? I wonder if Clean might have may inside info?

Don't know if this is relevant, but Tulane is doing very well and rank like #70 in recruiting annually. They have not had higher than a three star in years

Tulane is definitely on the upswing.

1 game. Against a team that caught lightning in a bottle last year, and who lost most of the production that got crushed by Jawja.

If Colorado makes it to the playoffs I will eat my words.

Let's see how they do this weekend against Nebraska, They can play. If Prime shows out this season and puts Colorado on the map and Billy shits the bed really bad, Florida may pony up and try for Prime. Anythings possible...
