I wouldn’t mind seeing Hellmers get the start. He started some big games early in his career. When LSU has made deep rubs, they’ve had someone that isn’t a big contributor make a late season impact.

Skenes is not pitching tomorrow. That would be moronic to put him off his schedule right now. My guess is multiple bullpen guys. Maybe Herring or Money.

Hellmers makes sense to me. I think it'll be him, Bucknam, Ackenhausen, Cooper, or Collins. I don't think any of these guys got work at Georgia except Cooper for 1 batter.

My guess is Money then Herring like last Tuesday and see if they can get us 6-7 innings. It's a dress rehearsal for the Friday regional game. Coleman would be your Game 4 guy I think.

Hellmers? He hasn't pitched in almost a month in a game. That does not make sense at all.

Y’all are talking about a guy that hasn’t pitched in the last 20 games. He’s probably out for the season with an injury.

Hellmers is not pitching
He hasn't pitched in weeks
Is he even on the travel roster?
I think Hellmers has pitched his last innings at LSU
He was close to quitting after last year and focusing on school

I think it will likely be Money or Cooper to start and Hurd to finish
Skenes can go thurs with Floyd on Fri and after that Coleman gets a start, maybe you can hit your way to a championship if you are still around

Hellmers hasnt pitched in 3 weeks, I doubt hes starting a game. Maybe if we get deep and need a guy he comes in, but dont see him starting off a game if they havent even pitched him since May 2nd.

I could see Money, Cooper or a couple other guys get the nod tomorrow. Money only threw 17 pitches on Saturday against UGA. Cooper saw like 2 batters in 2 appearances over the weekend.

If Coleman starts it would probably if we get to a 4th game because he just threw 65 pitches on Saturday and I doubt they want to throw him a lot on just 3 days of rest right now. You would think we throw Skenes Thursday and Floyd Friday as it stands now if we get that far.

Play to win - Skenes

Too early in his recovery cycle. Play ti win the CWS not the conference and especially not to tear up our best arm.

I would be surprised if Coleman started on 3 days rest.

hes not out for the season? we had someone say he wouldnt pitch again this season with his injury a week or 2 ago and that post had got upvoted to hell.

I was under the impression he wasn’t coming back, is that not true? Looking at LSUsports baseball stats it’s worrisome we are down to 12 pitchers left with Hellmers out so I hope you are right. And that 12 includes Little

Skenes
Floyd
Cooper
Hurd
Money
Guidry
Coleman
Herring
Dutton
Ack
Collins
Little

Hellmers
Edwards
Shores
Bucknam

This can only be done on the rant.

3 of the first 4 replies.

- Hellmers - a person who hasn't even thrown a pitch in forever.

- Skenes - the absolute ace, on short rest, in a meaningless game

- Coleman - coming off UCL surgery and a start Saturday.
