Any update on John Emery? Update: Grades due today, Spotted around football ops.

Grades for spring are being finalized sometime this week but no one knows what or if he needs any summer course work as well.

Only 2 people know for sure. CBK and Frank Wilson. With the addition of Diggs. I would say no.

Unfortunately, Emery may go down in history as one of those guys who had major promise, but it never materialized on the field. Hope I'm wrong...

Bringing in Diggs tells me that they aren't counting on emery.
It also tells me Goodwin has been injured most of him time at lsu.
Josh Williams is also dealing with a long injury.
I don't think the Diggs transfer was about one single reason.
I bet they don't even know if emery will make it.

Everyone keeps saying this, but why not add Diggs as a depth piece? We are thin at RB with or without Emery, so it only makes sense to bring in a quality back.

I agree with those. And also i think the fact that Diggs is a damn good rb that could help our offense a ton even if everyone was healthy

What are his options if he doesn't make it due to academics.
Does NFL still have supplemental draft?
If not, is he a free agent and can sign on with any team and try to make a roster
Guess he could always end up on a XFL or USFL roster for spring and hope to get a NFL tryout after that

The coaches know. They keep in contact with the players teachers when they are in trouble academically.

Ok. He is the only back we have that is threat to score every time he touches the ball. The rest are good, not explosive.
