So I fell asleep before the game was over. Was it necessary to pull Guidry for the last out and put Thatcher in? Was there an incident or injury? Or clear as day sniping saves?
That’s known thing, managers will do it for his guys stats. if going for a record or someone else in the pen the big league managers kinda go easy on the save sniping.
But I truly think he’s 1 of Jays favorite players that are and the other one is
Guidry had just struck out 2 guys, Dutton guy was at 3rd in a 7-4 game. Unless he was hurt, he save sniped Guidry.

This is one of the stupidest things I’ve heard.

I don't think Jay or the pitchers really give a shite about saves or save sniping as you call it. Guidry threw 4 straight balls and none of them were really close. Jay decided to get Hurd in for some gametime pitches I assume. Think you are trying to make a big deal out of nothing. Guidry likely could have finished. We have seen Jay do this multiple times now.

LSU was up 3. And Guidry just brought the tying run up to the plate. Really shitty spin job by you on this one.

He had a chance, but walked the would be third out.
My lefty stuff is wrong and maybe I should go back to sleep also. Lol. Sorry about that. Deleted it.

I’m guessing Guidry was on s tight pitch count, we have a series starting tomorrow.

The only thing I love more than poorly thought out conspiracies in sports are when people don't even watch and then come up with poorly thought out conspiracies in sports.

You ever heard that saying “asleep on the job”? It means somebody wakes up and has no idea what’s going on.

This is what some would call : over reaching . Or just dumb

Hurd is left handed? News to me.

Guidry had just 4 pitch walked the tying run to first. Harden represented the go ahead run and had gotten a hit his last time at bat.
I have no problem with the final pitching change but if you are trying to build confidence why not bring Gavin in at the beginning of the 9th instead of waiting until two were on with no outs? It worked out this time but it seems to me that is not as sure a chance for setting him up for success and opens the door for trouble more likely than not.

Goodness gracious.
I really wonder sometimes if half this board is mentally challenged (myself included).

You should have stayed asleep instead of coming in and making such a dumb post.

It was obvious to me that he didn’t want to use Guidry and when he did he had him on a tight pitch count.
Maybe it’s just me, but I thought he wanted Money to go 3, Herring 3 and Dutton 3. We have a series starting Thursday.

My bad, maybe the announcers said something about a lefty. And I just spaced out between last night and this morning. Thanks for correcting me guys.

No doubt.

Agree with this. Nevermind that those arms are our biggest inning eaters after the starters and will be needed in Athens. But I think you also needed to get Thatcher in there to get a little work in with an opportunity to be successful and build confidence. Guidry had the pitch watch device placed on his arm well before the 9th and both were warmed up plenty in advance. I'm actually surprised CJJ used him first instead of Hurd.

This thread is full of tard gold. Idiots answering idiots. Idiots straightening out idiots.
You’re absolutely right. JJ likes Hurd more than Guidry. He reranks all the guys on a whiteboard in his office daily.
