The "team can't hit LHP narrative" may be a bit oversold

According to Lean Vann, LSU was hitting .301 against LHP coming into the game. Hit .222 today.

Both the pitchers today were good. I think that was more important than the lefty Vs righty distinction
But a lot of poor at-bats- we didn’t exactly make it tough on them.

Sadly those numbers are inflated by seeing OOC lefty’s.
We haven’t fared well so far against the SEC lefty’s we’ve faced.
And we still were one bad decision on taking home from a probable win.

Well, when you hit something like .380 against righties (according to an interview with Coach Johnson a week ago), hitting .301 is dog shite. Hahaha.

That is by definition….. baseball! We’ve lived over the years where that guy deep down has to pitch and pitches the game of his life. Sometimes, the guy has your number. Move on to tomorrow.

We hit like .380 vs right handed pitchers.
We are much better against RHP than LHP and these were two very good LHP.

We have 3 losses this season. In every one of them a lefty pitcher (or two) shut us down for at least half the game. Even in some of our wins, lefty pitchers have held us down for several innings at a time.

ArkaNSAS' pitchers were more effective than the 4 we sent to the mound. Great pitching wins most of the time and Arkie's two lefties pitched great. Christian Little simply was horrid today.
