The WHIP of our weekend starters is sexy.

TAMUs relatively high WHIP after 3 weekend series against Seattle Portland and north Kentucky has me confident LSU is going to score some runs next weekend.

Arkansas has good starters, but their relievers are getting hammered thus far.

I’m sure our strategy against them would be to work counts against their starters and try to chase them, then feast on their weak bullpen. lol

Such a change from last year. Thank goodness. Cannot wait to see what the pitching looks like vs SEC Competition.

With the talent in the state if Georgia, them being bad at baseball and basketball is outrageous

yep I've always had this thought. It's wild. Georgia suburbs is like a travel baseball/showcase hub and somehow they have let Georgia Tech be the better baseball program.

Relief pitching will decide who will be SEC champion.

Their WHIP and ERA aren't matching well. Seems like they're having to get themselves out of a lot jams.

Injuries have played a big part. Right before opening day their expected Fri starter Wiggins was lost for the season. Their All American closer Tygart is out almost 2 months. Frank which was an up and coming relief pitcher was lost for the season.

Add in what they lost to the draft and transfer portal and it’s been a rocky rebuild to the staff.
