Had no idea. Was he not good enough to be recruited by LSU ? Or was he and just didn't want to ? He just hit a bomb in his first career at bat.

If he's not starting at Ole Miss, he wouldn't be starting here.

Yes, I realize Rebs won it all last year, but we're a much deeper team this year. Also, Bianco coached Eddy.

Oh no!

Eddie Furniss’s son !?

Why he must be a sure major league all star, just because of his dad!

Not good enough for LSU? I'm pretty certain Ole Miss is pretty ok at baseball.

This statement makes absolutely no sense. Ole Miss is the defending national champions. LSU aspires to reach the Rebels' level.

So you’re saying we want to vacate 5 of our championships?

He is better than his dad…
Doc got screwed up in the minors by listening to hitting coaches. Ruined his natural swing….

This is of mild interest only. If he’s a great hitter….well we now have some great pitching. I’ll watch.

It doesn’t matter to this young man how many championships lsu or ole miss won in the past as he is playing today. He simply made the wrong decision on where to go to school as LSU is ranked 1 this year for a reason. To bad he didn’t continue his family history at LSU as it would have been a great story as is he is tiger bait.

I can't remember where it was, but I read that LSU wasn't really interested. Makes sense for him to go to Ole Miss since his dad knows Bianco.
