There would have been electricity running through the fanbase going into Atlanta. Now it’s kinda like whatever. People can post all the “We’re 9-3 SEC West Champs” threads all they want. Last night was an abomination. We’re talking about a team that lost to App State and struggled every game, that won’t even go to a bowl.

LOL, I live in Atlanta and after last night, I stopped looking for tickets.
This team has played poorly after beating Bama. If playing for a spot in the CFB playoff wasn't enough motivation to keep this team energized, I can't imagine how bad they'll look with playing in a "consolation" game.
SB will have some explosive plays and JD will throw a few short comeback routes. UGA will stomp us and everyone will talk about how they look unbeatable and only "play" when they're motivated to blah, blah, blah.
Everything LSU built up will be tore down and in slightly less shambles than when the season started. LSU was picked to win 6.6/7 games and will be at 9 with a bowl game left. That win over Bama is looking more like a fluke.
Nah, I don't have time for all that nonsense. I probably will take the fam out to dinner and a movie and skip watching the game on tv.

Look at the ticket sites, couldn't sniff a ticket for less than $300 a pop last week. Our fans are spoiled and don't understand how big of a deal an SEC Championship is to witness and support. They have no room to talk about Bama fans being fakes after this game because lord knows Bama would fill that stadium Saturday regardless.

I think it’s probably a good thing we’re that spoiled. I don’t blame anyone for not going to watch ow semi pro athletes getting paid and wonder whether they give a shite or not this week while many people spend $2500 on the weekend.

True, gf and I are seeing this as a bowl game trip tbh. Tickets weren't outrageous, hotels were plentiful, and the game isn't gonna be stressful haha

Since we're doing "talking about", LSU was supposed to finish 5th in the West and eaTme was preseason 6th ranked team in the country.
The loss last night stings but does not define what they accomplished this year.
