Has anyone ever seen a visiting bus rocked or anything thrown at it?

Those anecdotes always seem to make their way into stories about Death Valley but I don’t think I’ve ever seen it.

Dear Mr. PoPo,
Even though the statute of limitations has been exhausted, I will still not confirm nor deny that I have personally thrown empty beer containers at opposing team buses in the early/mid 90s.

LOL Yep. Alburn '01
Tuberville got off the bus and pantomimed like he was smoking a cigar. People went ballistic, foaming at the mouth cussing him. There were no barricades or anything just some cops there to keep people away from him. It was nuts and awesome.

2005 Tennessee
First game in Tiger Stadium (first two games were moved) after Hurricane Katrina, and Fulmer tried to get the game moved due to Hurricane Rita.
The logistics of opposing teams arriving changed after that game.
Worst that happens now is the opposing team gets flipped off.

Yes, buses were being rocked when UGA pulled up in 2003. That was the best atmosphere I can remember at Tiger Stadium.

Why?

My wife used to work for the SEC and we left several stadiums riding with the officiating crew after the game. Not just Tiger Stadium, but anytime the home team lost, those rides were always an adventure.

Yes! Before and after the game. The worst was Auburn when Tuberville was here I think.

Hell yeah. 2005 Tennessee game, first home game of the season after Katrina and Rita, Monday night game too because of Rita. Somebody threw a bottle something at the Tennessee bus and busted out one of the huge glass windows on the bus. It was rowdy to say the least. A lot of pent up frustrations were being released.

Yes, bus rocked but was harmless

Nope
And I tailgated for a long time right by where the buses came in
There was plenty of tiger baits but never saw anything thrown or people getting close enough to the bus to do anything remotely like that
They have police escorts and the bus is moving so you would likely get arrested if they could see you doing it or seriously hurt if you got that close to a bus while moving

LSU apologizes to Tennessee for rowdy behaivor
Sep 29, 2005
Associated Press
BATON ROUGE, La. --LSU athletic director Skip Bertman apologized to the Tennessee athletic director for the rowdy behavior of some LSU fans who pelted a Tennessee bus with beer bottles before the Volunteers' Monday night victory over the Tigers.
Officials from both schools and LSU Police said people threw the bottles at the last of Tennessee's four buses after the convoy came to a stop near the stadium, resulting in three cracked windows. Some fans also rocked the buses, according to LSU Police.
In his letter, Bertman congratulated Hamilton on Tennessee's come-from-behind 30-27 victory in overtime. He then went on to apologize to Hamilton, the school president and all Tennessee fans
for the incident outside the stadium.
"As you know, there is unfortunately an element in every crowd
that does not exhibit good sportsmanship," Bertman wrote. "And
when crowds grow to the size of those on a football game day, it
takes only a very small percentage of offenders to ruin the day for
so many."
Bertman said the bottle throwers were not representative of all
LSU fans.
"We are working hard to address the problem presented by the
small percentage of people who, by their actions, damage the
reputation of an entire University," Bertman wrote.

Florida 07 watched a bunch of folks rock the bus sitting outside the East side of the stadium.
