We beat FSU by 30 now. That is frustrating.

You have to beat them when you play them. Same can be said for a lot of Week 1 or 2 games. If Ohio St. -ND play again, Ohio St. wins by 40, instead of being a nail biter.
And the most frustrating thing is if LSU kicked the extra point, they probably win in OT.

We knew this was going to be a roller coaster season. It's exceeding expectations at this point and we are going to return a majority of our players next season. 23' is looking like a very good year. We are recruiting well and developing the young talent. It's been shaky at times, but this staff clearly knows what they are doing.

That FSU game will go down in LSU history as one of the top 5 frustrating games of all time.

LSU should never open a season with a power 5 conference team again. Has bitten us in the arse with our opponent scheduling a week 0 game multiple times now. Just my opinion, but no way we would have lost that game week 2 or past that. I also think the UT game was a weird collapse with everything just going weong………..we could play that team a lot better than we did. Very proud of this team as well to be where we are right now.

It all depends on two things:
1. How JD plays. If he plays scared, very few points. We lose.
2. How defense plays. If we get behind and can't adjust, we get steamrolled. We lose.
We need JD to keep playing like the last two weeks. If we play like we have the last couple of weeks and stay healthy, we are as good as there is.
It would be nice if the defense to could start a game strong. We really haven't done that against a P5 opponent.

Although schedules are set years in advance this was the answer. If we had a warm up game under our belt before fsu we win that match up, no doubt.

They got a zero week. Might get a rematch it the Gator Bowl, in addition to next year in Orlando. Would almost prefer that to a trip to Vegas a week before Christmas.
