Minor cold front this upcoming weekend and lows for next weekend are projected in low 60s with highs in 80s
(Forecast obv could change but looks promising).

Truthfully there is a chance that weather will be perfect at kickoff and it will be a perfect day to kick some Vols out of town.

Would’ve been a great day for tailgating which sucks but the heat will not be mid 90s or into 100s so no excuse can be made! I’m not having it!

I've been informed that we're not allowed to look ahead.

The time sucks but Bama/TX played in 95 degrees temps and more humidity than what we will see next weekend. And the atmosphere was incredible.

Wear a long sleeve bamboo or polyester shirt to keep the sun off and enjoy the day. No reason to overthink this.

Soccer was a no go in my household growing up for this exact reason.

I was there. It was brutal, but their fans brought it all game. We need to do the same.

Last year the temp at kickoff of the LSU v. Florida game at 11:00 was approx. 66 degrees. It was a bright, sunny day that. By the end of the game the temp had risen to 73. Many would probably consider that an absolutely perfect weather day in BR. Still, even temps in the low 70's feels "hot" when you are sitting directly in the sun for 3.5 hours. Sitting in 85 degree sun for 3.5 is hot...no matter how you try to spin it.

Coincidentally, that would be about the same temp as the last time Tennessee played in Tiger Stadium: 10.2.2010

Given the choice, very few, if any LSU fans prefer a home game at 11:00 am. But it is what it is. Either deal with it or don't go.

You're technically correct, the forecast high of 89 degrees is not in the 90's, but fans will still bake.

And what Op fails to mention- If it’s 85° outside, then it’s more like 100-105 in the stadium

Assuming 3.5 hour event —> 11:00 start and halftime temps are lower than 2:30 start and halftime temps. I hate that game time, but heat is not the issue

Michigan put over 107,000 in their stadium for noon games 3 times already this season, vs. Colorado State, UConn and Maryland. And yes, they have Saturday youth soccer in Ann Arbor, too. And other alternative activities.
