Spot on!

there is no in between with jason whitlock - he's either spot on or extremely off base and probably a 30/70 split in that.

Criminally bad take on Burrow. Putting something out that ridiculous should be fireable offense.

Hate to admit it but Whitlock's right about Burrow. I sensed his desire to push the envelope on social issues a few years ago and simply wrote it off as a young qb trying to find acceptance from his peers on the football field.
But the arrogance that his opinion should be amplified and folks should follow his cue is going to eat him up with his followers and fans.
Take Jason's advice Joe...stay in your lane!

I see nothing wrong with this.

That article doesn’t get written if the Bengals start 2-0. Joe could do himself a favor and stay out of politics fwiw, it’s too toxic these days.

No he didn’t. He said that Burrow is prioritizing social justice values and fashion over actually being a football player, similar to guys like Kaepernick and Rosen. He never compared Burrow’s actual actions to Kaepernick’s. He then went into great detail explaining why it hurt their careers and why it’s hurting Burrow’s career. Nothing that he said was wrong

He's puttimg himself in the spotlight unnecessarily. If it happens through normal football stuff, that's one thing
But commenting on complex issues that you know is going to piss off 50% of your fan base is a different story. And the whole, "partying with rappers every weekend" has gotten a little over the top.

Burrow fans aren’t going to like it but he’s spot on. I thought the same thing when he showed up to the super dressed like a pimp then played like arse. He shouldn’t spent all those hours he put into that ridiculous getup into preparing for the game instead. He has time to turn it around.

I thought he played well in SB
He's young...

Why are y’all flaming Whitlock here? Burrow was on the cover of USA Today pushing all the SJW causes of todays liberals.
If Jameis Winston said that same stuff, this place would riot.
Burrow can be the greatest lsu QB ever and also someone we want nowhere near political power at the same time

No it’s not. It’s about a variety of topics. Try a little harder to invalidate his point by being willfully ignorant though

Poor comparison as far as football player, but he's right about staying out of politics. Why you would want to piss off people on either side based on your political take is beyond me. Just stay away from it.

I loved Burrow from day 1 at LSU but this article is pretty spot on when it comes to Burrow's current form.

I hope he is wrong, but I am afraid that he is 100% correct
