Didn’t watch one inning

Was busy getting hammered last night and didn’t watch an inning. The result did not surprise me in the least because it mirrored the entire season: poor starting pitching, poor defense, and a quick-strike opportunistic offense. Unfortunately that will only take you so far, which for this team will more than likely be a Super Regional loss (if they can get by USM, that is).

Eh, it was a tough game up until that 8th inning. Hilliard didn’t have his best stuff, nor did cooper. Offense was hitting the ball hard, but right at a lot of dudes. Credit to Fontenot for coming in a shutting Kennesaw down.
Seems like JJ had a talk with the team at some point about not trying to hit the ball yard. We scored 10 runs without hitting a a single homerun in that 8th. This team throughout the year has used the long ball to get back in games like this. Having them change that approach is a credit to COACHING.
