17M / 12 = 1.42M

24M / 14 = 1.71M

30M / 16 = 1.88M

You increase the numerator, that's how.

fricking bullshite. . .but I do what I must.
Then you're doing it wrong. What you do is take a sleeping pill at noon on Friday. You'll wake up at midnight. Eat breakfast. Shower and jerk off, and go straight to the stadium to get started. You'll hit your second wind right at kickoff, and you'll have just enough energy to party after the win.

I'm about 99.999999 percent sure they would. UT may threaten not playing them now but they would.

ETA: If anything the nature of the breakup would spice up the rivalry and add another dimension to it.

I sort of buy that to a point but when a team drops a game, and then moreso there second it completely changes the dynamic of their season. I like the no room for error nature of the BCS.

I see your point, but I would much rather see the two best teams playing for the title, as opposed to who was set up or who fell into the right place at the right time. Do you remember when LSU won it all in 07 with two losses? We were one game away from seeing WVU playing for the title, but they blew it against Pitt. Do you really think WVU was better than the 2 loss LSU team?

Guarantee? No. Nothing in life is guaranteed except death. Highly likely? Undoubtedly yes.

Add a new large market and another school, preferably one with a new market or good ratings and I don't see how you wouldn't be able to negotiate more money. There is also the option of a network deal like the Big10 and LHN. Not to mention there is precedent; see: the PAC 12 deal.

Either way it'd be fun beating those weirdos every year but dealing with their strange undeserved superiority complex would get old. I go back and forth on them joining but lean to not wanting it

This sucks. I want A&M gone and for this to be over. Having to stay in a conference with aggie and listening to their never-ending bitching is hell on Earth. I hope this is just legal posturing.

There is no doubt that it is highly likely.

They lost to Pitt. They weren't very good.

y'all are overrating this "market" storylines

if the SEC had its own network, that would matter a LOT more

Again, I see your point too but I think a playoff makes it LESS likely to see the best team win than the current system. I never really feel like it's fair in pro sports when I see a 83 win 2006 St. Louis Cardinals take the world series or the Giants beating the 18-0 Patriots in the super bowl. The 'right place, right time' scenario is more likely to happen in a single game than over the course of the whole season. West Va wasn't as good of a team as LSU, and given the full course of the season, they proved it.

Not true. Lots of upsets in 07, that was as crazy a season as I can ever remember. WVU was legit that year.
