If TAMU joins the SEC, I hope the SEC championship game will rotate between Atlanta and either Houston or Dallas.

Why Aggie will never play in it?

Leave it in Atl so I can read how it's not close to their school.

i'd like to see the championship game get moved around some. i think it would be cool to see it played at LP field. i also think a game in New Orleans would be amazing

It would be, but since the Sugar Bowl is in N.O., they won't do it.

SEC championship game ... Dallas.
Why have I seen this retarded idea so many times? Dallas would be further west than any SEC team. It makes no sense at all... if it's going to rotate from Atlanta, stick it in the Dome or in Titans Stadium.
Otherwise, let it be.

I'd prefer Houston since its so much closer to BR, Nashville is too cold.

I've read articles arguing that having it every year in a set location has been one of the reasons it has worked much better than both the ACC and Big 12 championship games. (don't mess with a winning formula!)

Such bullshite. Chick Fil A Bowl is in Atl and it's an SEC affiliate.

This. It's in Atlanta. ATL is more or less a neutral site, and it's not miserably far for anyone (minus our potential conference mates the Faggies, but how often do you think they'll be making that trip?)

It's only neutral when UGA is not representing the East IMO

You can bet the SEC will have some type of representation in Houston. Maybe some kind of kick off classic and/or backing a larger bowl in Houston that has an SEC team. Houston is too large of a media market to ignore. I doubt the SEC pushes DFW too hard.

You didn't see the LSU games vs. UT in the dome then.

I can promise you that if 2 Big 12 teams join, the championship games will rotate. This will be a condition and would be a competitive disadvantage to these two schools (being so far away). No way will Alabama / Tenn / UGA continue to enjoy home field advantages at these events. Baseball in Hoover, Basketball/Football in Atlanta would be rotated Memphis, NOLA, Houston. NOLA has the most to gain as it becomes more centrally located.

Having said that, Atlanta is still the most centralized of the viable cities, and only LSU, Arkansas, and A&M are any considerable distance from Atlanta. There is no real reason to take it from Atlanta imho.
