BU returns A&M Tickets...NOT TRUE...

First off...Texas A&M has a fantastic college football atmosphere regardless of the ugliness of their campus and surrounding area...I'll defend them on the "who'd want to go there anyway" point...they're still no SEC school but they're trying.

The "returned" 3k ticket allotment simply isn't true...BU has actually SOLD OUT their allotment AND you don't return tickets when the game is OVER ONE MONTH away...feel free to call the BU ticket office...it's no random twitter account but I find it to be an occasionaly somewhat reliable source.

The truth is there in black and white, if you care to read it. Big XII members have to return unused tickets from their visitors allotment by July 1, and Baylor returned a bunch.

I lurked and occasionally posted on this board. You're defense of all things baylor has gotten fairly annoying I must say. How you and the other Baylorites I know love having that slimeball Ken starr making a show and making the respectable university look like a crazed lover I will never understand.

It makes me sad that Baylor fan has sullied this awesome board by spewing this trivial disdain for Aggy leaving the big 12. Last summer this place was full of information (however useless) and discussion. Now it appears to have been reduced to Baylor crying foul and Chip Brown tweets...

Kansas purchased two times more tickets than Baylor. Baylor is supposed to have their best season in a very, very long time and Kansas is supposed to win about 3 or 4 games and get absolutely thrashed by us, and yet they still purchased double the amount of tickets. Kansas is not a school with 50,000 people, so it isn't numbers. They are also located well out of driving distance and don't have a big alumni base in Texas. Baylor is 90 miles away and an overwhelming majority of their alumni live within 2.5 hours driving distance. This is why you will be performing sexual favors to get into the Big East.

A&M actually has some nice areas around campus, but the area around the stadium sucks arse. That was pretty much the only area of campus I saw since it had the business school.

Waco is crap, but you cannot seriously be saying that Baylor has an unattractive campus. I would say they have the best looking campus in the Big 12 if I take my homer glasses off.

Baylor looks a lot better than it used to. They do have a nice athletic complex--although the stadium is located elsewhere, a couple of miles from campus. On a football gameday, many visitors never see the Baylor campus.

For my money, Kansas has the most attractive campus in the Big XII. I'm looking forward to seeing the SEC schools and comparing.

I bought tix for A&M through the KU website in August. I'm not sure how they could send them back to A&M on July 1st and then sell them the next month.

I stayed in Waco 8 years ago when my dad took my grandfather to a Korean War veterans reunion out in Texas. All I remember from that trip are a few buildings and a bunch of flat, unused land.

Baylors campus is nice, and Waco isnt that bad if you get by the lake area.

CS is nothing if you ask me, compared with other college towns across the south.

A&M Campus is very boxy and ugly

You should go back, the campus is amazing now. Especially the science building.
