I do not disagree Tech did not deserve to be in any more than TX did. B12 is a joke after TX and OU left and they filled it with abuncha of Mountain West and CUSA schools

While I do think TX is currently the strongest team in Texas, you did not deserve to be in the playoffs due to your whole schedule. CFP is the whole year, not who is hottest at the end.
Don't lose to FL and go to OT with UK and MSU and you would still be playing.

Manziel would regularly go on hellacious benders the night before games and never seemed to stop him. That being said I certainly wouldn’t advise that strategy
