No, we're pretty loud when we want to be, but bringing stupid rankings up like partying and being loud and such means nothing round these parts.

bleacherreport?

Sheeit.

LSU
Florida
Auburn
Alabama

all have been extremely loud at one point or another when I went...and when I mean 'extremely', I mean loud to where I want to puke because my insides can't properly function.

That's not Big 12

Maybe you will like this info better...

Kyle Field is regarded as one of the most intimidating college football stadiums in the nation. CBS Sportsline listed Kyle Field as the nation's best with a perfect score in three categories (atmosphere, tradition, and fans).

It is ranked as the #4 stadium in the nation by The Sporting News and is considered one of the most intimidating stadiums in the Big 12 Conference.

The college recruiting ranking service Rivals ranked Texas A&M as having the seventh-best home field advantage in the nation with Kyle Field.

In 2002, ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit listed Kyle Field's atmosphere the best in the nation. When he was broadcasting a 2010 game at Kyle Field, Herbstreit said that it was the best stadium and fans in the country.

In addition, Texas A&M has been rated No. 17 in the nation by The Princeton Review in the category "Students Pack the Stadiums."

Just so I'm clear... no journalistic source or college sports media or analyst opinion is applicable... only the opinions of some forum warriors who have never even been to Kyle Field. Got it.

The A&M game against FIU last year was louder than the LSU/Bama game last year.

Just sayin'

I could find a bunch of polls that rep LSU, UGa, Florida, etc...in a very nice way.

Fine, take it. Within a few years you will realize what we were all talking about and this thread will receive a quality bump. Until now...go ahead thinking your cute little stadium is so amazing with it's 'atmosphere' and 'tradition'. Because after you get curbstomped by the Alabama schools, LSU, Arky, etc...your stadium will still be ranked really high, only you won't have the home record to back it up.

Just because it's a fact that Kirk Herbstreit said that doesn't mean what he said is a fact. I'm not saying it's not a fact, either. I'm just saying that 98% of people here don't care what he has to say.

I've learned that there are certain fan bases that post here that don't like anything involving Ohio State.

If you seriously live in Corpus you've got bigger problems than what's on TV.
