He could lay the 'revenge' wood on UF, USCe, and Bammer.
Great recruiter.
Maybe 1 or 2 other good points I can't think of right now.

I can't hate on Zook. Anyone could have been Spurriers successor and would have had the same results. I think he's actually a pretty good coach.

I think he would bring a certain nasty attitude toward the SEC brethren teams that you might not find in another hire. Just saying.

i never taught zook was a bad coach and he is winning at freakin illinois. I think with a oc like crowten that will have total control unlike lsu's current situation, he wouldn't be a bad hire.

we could do worse. But i think zook's on to a good thing where he is at. he is bringing 21st century football to the big 10. he is way ahead, therefore, of all the other schools.
One of the big reasons there are so many upsets is because lesser teams (many) don't just try to match up anymore strength vs. strength. They stretch the defense and try to score lots of points.
THe Big 10 is still 3 yards and a cloud of dust. Tressell has introduced more of a passing game; but even he is not exactly wide open.

I'm just amazed at his ability to go wherever he wants and be an excellent recruiter. If he came to LSU, we certainly would not miss a step recruitingwise.
