Ott throws shite out there for one reason only. Ratings. Ott doesn't know RR. He claims that RR would have crawled to get to BR if offered. He turned down Bama last yr. RR left WVU b/c he knew the team wasn't going to be worth shite the next few yrs. He got out before his stock started to drop.

I think it was also about the administration not meeting the promises they made to him last year to get him to turn down the Bama offer.

Like they said on the Herd show today West Virginia isn't coming out all that bad. Collecting a nice BCS check and the buyout pretty much means Michigan will be paying for their next head coach.

2002 9-4 bowl loss
2003 8-5 bowl loss
2005 11-1 Beat UGA in Sugar
2006 10-2 Loses to USF with MNC on the line. Barely beats GT in Gator Bowl
2007 10-2 Loses to Pitt with MNC on the line.
I guess he fits perfectly at UM. He loses the big games every year!
