He's had shite game plans all year.

He's been on cruise control.

On average he's had the #6 ranked talent composite against like the 40th or worse this year and struggled.

His teams are undisciplined

His teams are rarely motivated

His teams are poorly prepared

most of his losses come after a bye week or a break

His in game awareness is horrible

The reality is that Riley is soft as frick and his teams embody that. He's not winning
shite that matters and they are low key looking for a breath of fresh air.

He's great at recruiting and designing an offensive system based around his players.

It all goes downhill after that.

We'll actually pay for coordinators and facilities unlike you cheapskates, so we should be all set.

That's half the battle. He's an elite recruiter.

You know what would really suck? We get Riley then OU hires Aranda who brings a defense to OU. Then dominates college football proving he is one of the next great coaches.

It’s not any more likely that Aranda makes their defense great while sustaining their offensive success than it is Riley makes LSU’s offense great but the defense falls off.

OU still has a significant recruiting disadvantage for defensive players.

We will mold him and make him a better coach and after that we’ll work on his brisket skills.

Another thing I love about this is that OU fans don't realize how hard it actually is to recruit to OU in general but specifically defensive players. The shortcomings that the state of Oklahoma provides to its biggest football school is the polar opposite of what Louisiana provides to LSU. You put Riley's Offense at LSU in a state where defensive talent grows on trees and you get a Juggernaut.

And if OU fans disagree with that statement, prove otherwise. What talent, especially defensively does Oklahoma produce, what % of OU recruiting classes actually come from within your state. Ill give you a hint... almost zero to both statements...

I've been reading some of the OU forums more and I'm honestly a little concerned, but not overly. A young coach can learn and adjust. But anything is better than what we have.

They see the reality and are now convincing themselves they’re better off. A few weeks ago they wouldn’t even entertain the thought this was possible
