Coaches move to the NFL?
In the NFL you you have contracts and don’t have to re-recruit your own star players every year. You get compensated if you have to trade someone rather than just lose them. There are much more defined and stringent rules to tampering etc. there is also a salary cap.
To me right now college football looks like a Wild West version of the NFL.

College Head Coach has become a huge pain in the arse with the current environment.

Depends. Are you talking major program vs NFL, Bo Davis is probably making more than a lot of NFL DCs. So yeah it’s a constant headache but at some programs you’re compensated for that

I would be in the NFL all day long to not have to mess with the recruiting and just focus on football year round would be worth it

That Wild West benefits the coaches too. You don’t get a new 100 mil dollar contract every time another team sniffs your direction. You can also now completely reconstruct your team or bring your team with you more or less if you want to hop for a better job. The NFL makes lateral moves near impossible and only the top 3 HCs are making comparable money to CFB HCs
The college coaching money dwarfs the NFL money and grind outside of a few exceptions
